  • Hello from Mexico!

I loved the movie, but I agree with you on the dating theme on all the new disney shows and I wish my cousin would block the disney channels on my niece's TV too.

And well, I don't know about this black magic thing...but Bones (the series) had an episode in which they in New Orleans. The whole episode was on Boodoo magic affecting people, the way they put it there I just thought it was not just like what black people do, but New Orleans people or superstitious people do

  • thanks.

  • I respect your opinion but in this response you are acting very close minded. Racism and segregation is based on a two sided spectrum... the way you interpret it and the way it is presented. Disney did not purposely portray African Americans as frogs... it is a fairytale.... the only one in this video response who is prejudice is you. You went into this movie looking for subtle, symbolic, and potential ways to find how Disney poorly presented African Americans.

  • @DCAtige IF IM SO IGNORANT HOW CAN I MAINTAIN A WHOLE COMPANY FROM THE GROUND UP THAT I CREATED THAT PROMOTES ARTIST WORLD WIDE? I JUST SPEAK ON MY OPINION. IM NOT PREJUDICED CAN'T BE A RACIST BECAUSE IM NOT IN THE MAJORITY TO BE A RACIST

  • I agree with you that recent Disney Entertainment products such as Hannah Montana and Witches of Waverly Place, have no important morality themes. I would highly suggest that you continue to take your children to Disney animated musicals because they positively develop childhood morality and outlooks of life. Other than that, I still respect your reactions to this film.

  • @DCAtige PEOPLE CAN TAKE WHAT I SAID OR NOT. I NOTICE WHEN COME IN THE ROOM AND MY KIDS WATCH DISNEY THEY SEE THE KIDS ON THERE TRYING TO GET HOOKED UP WITH THE OPPOSITE SEX ALL THE TIME. NO STORY LINE ANYMORE

  • i am so tired of how ignorant some black people are. serioiusly. why can only white people be racist?? have you ever watched a disney movie? they have magic and crap in them all the time, but when there are black people in the movies, you suddenly become offended. quit coming up with petty little things to be considered racist. i mean good luck with your new blog you started, but if its all like gonna be like this... it ain't going no where.

  • FUCK YOU WITH ONLY AYITI CAST SPELL WHAT DID YOU KNOW ABOUT AYITI GET INFORMATION

  • @bomvox I totally agree!! I think a lot of people just read way too much into things. It's pretty sad...

  • i hate this movie, the black magic, the jumbo what the fuck is jumbo anyway.

  • Ray isn't offensive to blacks, he's offensive to cajuns. That character is still the product of bigotry, though.

  • @powercammedia [cont] And one more thing, you SHOULD NEVER judge a book by it's cover! If you have seen the movie by now and had a change of heart, let me know. But if you still act like this towards it and still choose to shelter your children from an AMAZING movie, then you blew it for yourself and the children. I didnt wanna believe it, but we DO nit-pick and make an issue where there isnt one, and thats what you are doing sir. I cant fully respct your opinion until after u seen the movie. :/

  • @powercammedia [cont.] It's just one witchdoctor! Disney isn't showing that that's what black ppl do as an entirety. Like I said, what about mama Odie? Secondly, the firefly isn't black, so what's wrong with "slave talk"? It's actually Cajun, so please discontinue the ignorant term "slave talk". So now that I proved how ridiculous you are overanalyzing this, what else do you have to complain about? Oh yeah, and the NAACP thing is a horrible idea!! They will just ruin it completely!

  • @powercammedia I'm black AND I saw the entire movie. Honestly sir you are overthinking all of this. I think Voodoo (never called black magic in movie), was portrayed in a fun, interesting, and entertaining manner. Do you honestly think your children will identify what magic Facilier is using? My sister is 10 and she didn't even catch on to that, why?, because that's not whats important. What about Mama Odie? She has magic too, she's black, AND it's GOOD magic.

  • @megalomania345 Perhaps it did get a little slow. It certainly wasn't my favorite Disney movie, but it was decent.I was happy to see a hand drawn movie because they are so scarce these days.

  • @gdspam
