Mita Menezes talks to Bob Gach regarding digital transformation.
Robert P. Gach is the managing director of Accenture's global Capital Markets industry group. In this role, he is responsible for its overall vision and strategy, investment priorities and supporting network of alliance partners.
Mr. Gach joined Accenture in 1980 and has spent his entire career in the financial services sector—helping financial institutions improve their businesses for high performance. With more than 30 years of experience working with leaders in the global banking and capital markets industries in Asia, Europe and North America, he has extensive background in strategy development; information technology planning; architecture development and implementation; package systems evaluation and implementation; custom application development; and outsourcing.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Gach served as managing director for Accenture's Financial Services operating group in Asia Pacific where he helped launch Accenture's outsourcing business for Financial Services in Asia and supported Accenture's entry into China. He had previously led Accenture's Global Capital Markets group from 2000 to 2003.
Mr. Gach holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Fordham University in New York.
