@untamedfeast Haha! yeah, sorry! I'm a personal picker now (never planning to do it for $ again! too much work, too much waste) who gives excess to family and friends. Love the hunt and the picking, not as much the cleaning, and love the eating. :) Just a curious dude, really, who has a cold, and hasn't talked to anyone in a day. :) formosa30@shaw.ca if you want to carry on from here. love your vids by the way. :) and in Vic.

hey, what's your average poundage per year of pines that you go through, whether you picked yourself, or bought from pickers? I picked and bought chanterelles to sell in Victoria a couple years ago, and it went ok, but you're right - you have to be really organized, and have the sales chain in place, or there's a lot of wastage. are you based in Crofton? and how many folks work for you now?

Where are you at, and what are you up to?

what a different world when you're doing it for market, rather than personal. good luck the next time! :) btw, your product is great. enjoyed a few times when I had to buy some. it was also nice to meet you at that market a couple years ago. (sorry, can't remember which one!) and thanks for showing the work truck! :)

It's too bad that trip didn't work out for you. I've been on a couple trips like that this season, far less expensive though.
