American idol does not really showcase the talent of the contestants. That's why a lot of really good singers have been eliminated prematurely. I thought Blake was really good, and very entertaining. He's one of the very few AI contestants I would actually go to see in person. Archie fans, like me, are very rabid and protective of him, so we can say some dumb stuff every now and then.(LOL)

thank u for being the first archie fan that doesnt trash on blake...

no one admits that they are both very talented...its seems as tho artist themselves are the only ones who actually think that the other is talented

and som ppl never giv a chance to listen to blake's singing

theyre just focused on the beatboxing, that they never giv him a chance...

he can actually sing u know.

mayb not as good as the other contestants and definitely not deserved to be in Final 2 with that voice, but he can sing

because AI is a competition and people root for their favorite, there is a tendency to be "for' or "against" a particular contestant, even after the show ends. Blake and Archie are both very talented, and will have whatever careers their talent allows. Good luck to both of them.

Ok. all is forgiven. I actually liked Blake on AI and thought he had a lot of style and was very unique. i tend to be defensive about Archie, even though he doesn't need anyone to be.

i was explaining how ppl are mad that blake said this stuff about him.

and i was just giving an excerpt from his blog where he apologized about this since ppl are complaining...

i was just saying that blake said that david was super talented and i agree...

i obviously know that hes a superstar now

Check out Archie's performance of "Zero Gravity" in Columbus Ohio. That will end all the discussion about comfort zones, etc. David is already a star in Malaysia and Singapore and about to do the same in the UK. American idol was kid stuff. David is a first rate pop star now.

well the thing is archie used a version another person already arranged. i believe it was roberta flack....or it was someone else, but it was definitely a female legend who already did the exact same version as his ages ago.

archie just used her version

thats why theres so many runs and a wider range

blake just wanted to use the original by john lennon.

and blake would hav never done imagine on the show if he was on. he only did it cuz of Idol Gives back, and he wouldnt be that stupid
