Scartching on the North Side of Clear Creek Canyon on a south day.......worked it for 50+ minutes. Flew back to lookout and buzzed some people and then landed
@flytim1 Well, it's been thought about and I've seen someone at POM with a tail fin on the end of his harness. He said it worked well, as he could yaw the glider with less effort. The biggest issue is that it gets pretty clumsy running full bore down launch with a fish tail hanging out of your ass, draggin on the ground.
nicely done. well executed. how come you guys don't have tail-fins on those pod harnesses? seems like that might smooth out the vortice flow on the tail-end...
