  • Diabetes sucks hard...

  • when i wasnt on the pump i was really tired and i was about to go give my self lantus and i did novolog so i kept waking up like 30 and we couldnt figure out why and then i relized i did novolog!

  • i hate the quick set i want the mio its cool and sometimes when i take the quick set off to take a shower and when i went to go put it back on it would click in or twist on so i had to do another pump site :(

  • sometimes when I go to take my Night time insulin, hence i use pens. My hand will slip in the middle of it shooting into me, there fore me loseing some units. So I have to take 2 or 3 more just to be safe. And 400. thats 22.2 mmol/l Isnt it?

When i was Diagnosted My blood sugar was 71.1 mmol/l which I think would be like 1279 mg/dl Where you are. And i was like 2 hours or 1 hour away from being in a coma.

  • im horrid at taking care of my diabetes.

i eat EVERYTHING and dont bolus correctly.

my bg is almost always 200 something

  • Oh yeah, that stuff has definitely happened to me before. Or what about the one where you start a new pump site and head out the door only to find later that the tuby thing bent under there and you haven't been getting your basal insulin! Grrrr, that just happened while I was in the hospital visiting my sick grandfather.

  • This was Awesome Thank you so much for sharing.

  • oh man two days ago i forgot to put in the fill cannula amount and my BG started to make it's way up and i could not figure out why so i realized wait a minute did i fill the cannula? sure enough i went a half hour without having it filled.

  • it was like 7 feet tall, hehe

we all have slip ups, i sometimes forget to take my lantus [not on a pump yet] and that always turns out realllly bad.

  • We did this ONCE to our 2 year old daughter. How bad do you think we felt knowing it was our fault. We won't make the same mistake again that's for sure. We all learn by mistakes
