  • just pour them in r they suposed to live in a bucket ure creating more work why add water from the tank to the bucket if ure going to poor it back anyway

  • First of all they are only temporarily in the bucket so that they can slowly adjust to the water chemistry. The water is supposed to drip into the bucket for this reason. Secondly, the water that is dripped into the bucket is NOT to be poured back into the tank. This water will be mixed with water from the store since you poured the bag contents into it, and this water must not enter the tank. If you consider this a lot of work, you must be very apathetic, because acclimation is very important.

  • great video!!! i have a question if i already have the 10 gallon tank how much would it approx. cost for the rest of the stuff that u got like how much did u pay for all that

  • Hey there nickturk30, I paid way more than the average person does with their tank. To this date, (my latest update on this tank will show you what it looks like today), I have spent around $500-$600. However the average person does not spend anywhere near this amount for this size tank. I only did due to a lot of equipment replacements and trial and error. The average person will spend $100-$200 on a nice 10 gallon set up. The saltwater hobby can definitely get expensive!

  • how long should i acclimate a yellow tank

  • I don't have an exact answer for you. You have to use your instincts and try to tell whether or not your fish is used to the tank water conditions.

  • Wait, why didn't you put the crabs and the fish in the same container?

  • If you acclimate your fish for too long you will kill it because the temp. is changing when you let it sit on the floor and then the temp acclumating was pointless

  • @nickturk30 dont get a small tank if its your first... its harder to maintain. get a 55 gal or bigger. its more forgiving

  • Do they require an oxygen while acclimating
