Yes! This is exactly what I keep saying to try and convince people about Historically Informed Performance of Beethoven. Great to have some new authentic Beethoven recordings to add to Norrington and Gardiner, which haven't weathered well as recording techniques have evolved consideringly since they were made.
Can't wait to hear Tafelmusik's Eroica! Hurry up and record it! :D

Bruno Weil does a great job with Beethoven. My favorite Beethoven conductor is still Otto Klemperer... but fantastic Bruno!

Miss Lamon's statement makes sense... playing baroque and then playing Beethoven and then the feeling that every thing's pushed to the limits... :>
