Michelle is the greatest champion of all time. Dick Button had a saying "Michelle wears her heart on her sleeve." Yes she does, that combined with her elegance, grace and artistry like no other, makes her a legend. Michelle is timeless and will be remembered for all time. I'm so glad to have been around to watch the Kwan Era!

Since you emphasized the world FELL, should we take a tally to determine how many times Michelle FELL during her career vs. how many times Sasha fell?

DIDN'T THINK SO! ROFLMAO!!

On her worst day, even as a novice, Michelle never stunk up an arena like Sasha did in her 2010 Nationals LP. Landing only 4 clean jumps, 2 of them doubles! In HISTORY there has never been a bigger choke fest...an embarrassment to the sport!!!

Boring repetitive and safe. That pretty well describes Cohen. I do agree that Emily was cheated out of her spot, I never said that I was a huge fan of Kwan, but I would have to say that her skating was great for a long time, she just never hit it when it counted at the Olympics. Kind of like how Pre ran a faster qualifying time in the 5k than what the winning time was in the Olympics, and Lasse Viren went home with the Gold that day, Pre did not. Does that mean Pre sucked? Hardly.

I have no favorite skater, I'm just a fan of this sport but I must agree with you about the 2006 Olympics. Kwan didn't complete enough that year to qualify herself. However, the USFSA granted her petition & she went into the Olympics unprepared. I also agree with you that she cheated Emily Hughes our of the spot. When Kwan dropped out at almost the last minute, Hughes had very little time to pack let alone the readiness mentally & physically.

Not being a very good sport of Kwan if you ask me.

And as far as one time, one hit wonders.....and let's just say they truly were ..what better place to have the hit than at the Olympic Games?:) Kwan had all the advantages even to the point of being propped up as much as the judges could and she still couldn't cut it. Poor little pathetic thing:( Sniffle, sniffle, sob, and skate to Fields of Gold in a Gold Costume. Ridiculous!

Longevity? You mean skating routines that are boring, safe, repetitive, and hanging on and on...then coming back after placing only 4th at worlds to say that 'I think I am one of the top three skaters in the US'...penning a whiny petition to be on the U.S. Olympic team cheating Emily out of her time...then having her groin owie flair up at her very first practice (pre planned much?) and slithering back to Disney after 'dropping out'...she's just a wannabe:( Poor little thing.
