@wylesben91 It's called yoko wakari, and it's considered a high risk throw. While in wrestling the posture is perfect for the throw, and you're inside that person's stance enough to get it, you wouldn't be able to get those perfect conditions so easily in judo. That means you have to catch the other person off guard with it, and higher level Judoka will feel your shift. The way I trick people is by making them think I'm doing ippon seoi nage, but then shoot out.

wasnt picture perfect befor i through the jap whizzer i lock his arm under mine then trough my open arm under then the same foot work as you would do in a head and are or a over under through

if that was a Japanese whizzer then obviously i have been doing it WRONG my entire career. I have taught it wrong. Hell maybe I was even playing air hockey,,, because that was PATHETIC...

that wasn't a japanese whizzer, an arm throw/spin, or a lateral toss. All that was was a bad wrestler falling on the ground for no good reason
