Epic Hunter Quest 1/4: Winterspring

A quick runthrough of the Artorius encounter in the epic hunter quest.

This was filmed with fraps back in World of Warcraft Patch 1.6, which was the release of BWL. My hunter had only a few epics at the time, but everything else was pretty much 55+ blue.

When I was recording the videos, I wanted to show that you didn't need a whole ton of buffs or anything special to beat the demons. In this attempt, the only thing I had on was cheetah.

Before I get a ton of "lawl nub" posts, I have a few 60's and was raiding "cutting edge" content with everyon else back when AQ40 was released. I stopped raiding before we got C'thun, and now only play casually.

You can't use a pet for any of the encounters. If you do, the mob despawns and you fail.

where do u start the epic hunter quests?

You need to get an "Ancient Petrified Leaf" from Major Domo in Molten Core.

this one was ridiculous hard. I think ungoro was the easiest, then the burning steppes one, then the silithus one, then this one.

I don't understand how so many people had troubles with this one. It is by far the most simple of all the encounters.

@FeXd Also, if you have a pet or group member, a big effing black thing called "The Cleaner" spawns, which is immune to everything except for Chuck Norris' roundhouse kicks and owns your ass, is that true? I read it on WoWWiki.

Yep, I did all this and got Rhok'delar, Longbow of the Ancient Keepers in a few hours. I had an 80 to kill them all for me lol. Although on Artorius, I had an ally 80 and I had my lvl 60 Tauren Hunter so I had to get him down to like 10k then he did one shot and I got his head. But for the rest, an 80 Tauren Hunter who had a soft spot for hunters like me wanted to help me.
