My theory of "I Never Quite Got Over The Fact That The Beatles Broke Up" is that it's PG's recollection of a summer following the breakup of the Beatles in 1970: the things he was doing while absorbing the realization of the demise of a band he idolized. SON OF A PLUMBER is a fantastic album, particularly from my standpoint as one who was a kid never far from a radio in the first half of the 1970's.

THIS SONG IS SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
