This is my Red Tail Boa, Bella. It's an overview of my boa that I got in August 09 as I show her off with an up close look. She was about 2 feet long when I got her, and in the video she is almost 3 feet (34 inches to be exact). So she is growing fast. The video was shot in Hgh Definition (as are all of my videos). In the video I mention that I don't know how old she is exactly, however I do know she is somewhere between 6 months and 1 year old, just not sure of the exact age. Maybe someone with a little more knowledge can give me a better idea of her age based off of her size. I'm guessing 9 months old, give or take a month.

Be sure to check out my other videos and let me know what you think. Enjoy!

  • im going to get one soon did you wait 2 weeks before you held it? cause i was told when you get it in its cage you should wait about 2 weeks before you take it out to play with or hold but i didn't do that with my fire skink or bearded dragons but is it any diffrent with snakes?

  • Actually no, I didin't wait 2 weeks. I held her for a while a day or two after I got her, and then waited about three or four days after that and then held her again on a regular basis after that. She did great though. She ate fine and everything. I tried to keep her as comfortable as I could though. Every boa is probably different though. If it seems stressed, I would just leave it alone for a while. Good luck with your boa.

  • @eastfamous21 I agree

My advice, stay away from petco

Go to a local breeder, you'll find healthier animals and eliminate the middle man cost.

    Good luck

  • Very nice!

  • i am geting a boa from petco any body got any tips i realy want to give him a good home thanks

  • nice snake i have a red tail boa 1 thats 18 inches nd 6 about 6 feet and 2 balls and 12 corn snakes im a breeder ever want another snake email me

  • Even though I have a Ball that I do love, (Isis), Boas are my favorites. Perfect sizes, great temperaments for the most part, and beautiful!

  • my boa has straight lines down its side about every inch. these lines are scales that are like bent at a 90 degree angle, and they worry me because im not so sure what they are. anyone have a suggestion?

  • @airsoftpro251 snakes cannot hear, they have no ears, they can only feel vibrations when they rest there bottom jaw on a surface.

  • what do you feed her?

  • Never let a snake look into the camera it is bad for them and a clicking sounds is produced when a camera records that's what caught the snakes eye
