@pennthebaker I used to be fully rock, but I realized the error of my ways. It's not too late to repent, brother. Join us classical guitarists!

I am a rock guitarist by nature but i now realise that is only because i have about as much talent as he does in one of his nose hairs.

Please check Berta Rojas' version . it's much more tone detail than Denis
Azabagic.
And John's version not good as his other version. But I think if I choose one for
me,Berta Rojas win the game. She so good at Barrios Mangore's songs.

@dareldiprog Agreed. Azabagic's interpretation is beyond compare...haven't found one better so far. I don't think William's Allegro was so much slow as it lacked sufficient drama coming in after the other fast movements.

John Williams is so amazing. I really think he may have caught up on some zzz's while he played through.

wow! bravo! :-)

Goyroyni: I don't want to get into fighting with U by this, check Dennis Azabagic's interpretation and perhaps you can see what I mean with my comments about speed. Good Bye :)

He is consistent with his previous recordings/performances of this piece, so basically that's how he plays it. If you prefer other guitarists' renditions that's totally fine. Let's not forget though that it was JW who revived Barrios' music.
As for your speed comments:
1st movement, the melody is in the high notes, if you focus on it you'll see the speed is fine.
2nd movement, you could be right if it was choppy due to speed but it isn't. It convinces very well.
3rd movement, slow??? Please.
Hi jllobet! Have you got the video of the whole recital?
