BF3 Beta - More Jet Gameplay (9:1, bombing + dogfights)

Another fun game I had today. I've been playing around with more of a hybrid build using air-to-surface guided missiles to support my team on the ground, plus belt speed to help me still be useful when I need to defend myself.
As this video demonstrates, it's been working out really well so far. I had a really nice streak straight from the get-go, with a couple of lucky one-hit vehicle kills, followed by a few dogfights. I also managed to snipe a couple choppers, but in the end, I was a little too greedy and ended up screwing myself over. :D

GPU: Asus Radeon HD 6950 2GB
Case: NZXT Phantom
PSU: Corsair 750W
Keyboard: ThermalTake Challenger Pro
Mouse: RAT7
Coming soon: another GPU and an extra HDD, so I can record at 1080p, and hopefully 60FPS! Also, gonna try a joystick when it's fixed in retail. :)

@ytFex Thats not true, you can still lock onto empty vehicles.

@5Canonz no you have to unlock it. And this is beta footage so guided missiles were still severely overpowered.

Beta - where guided missiles were acutally decent. Now they can't even DISABLE a tank.

@muodypl2 They've definitely had their damage nerfed a lot, but the even bigger problem is that you can no longer lock on to empty vehicles, which means all you have to do to cancel out AGMs entirely is just step out of the vehicle as soon as you hear a jet locking on - and when you get out to repair, your vehicle is invincible.

@Juliocf58 Yes, for sure. I've actually switched over to Rocket Pods, which weren't available in beta. They're tricky to get used to, but they are incredibly good at long range, and also give you the ability to take out infantry if there is no enemy armor on the field. I'll try to get vids up soon.
