Art space clean up

My room was becoming a black hole of a mess. I couldn't hardly walk in there with all the supplies I was keeping. So, today I said I have enough...it's time to clean up this stuff. I didn't feel like I could be creative in there anymore with all the stuff around. It wasn't only cluttering up my desk/floor/closet, it was cluttering up my brain as well. ha ha :)

I have the SAME problem right now.lol My room is a complete black whole right now, and im a freshman in highschool so I have tons of homework so that equals no time to clean. I have tons of canvas,drawing pencils, easels,and paint EVERY where. And to make matters worse my room isn't that big ): I've noticed that most artist tend to be alittle messy.

Isn't it funny how most artist, graphic designers and crafting people ALWAYS have a stack of magazine to go through? I have a ton too and I pull out everything that catches my eye, for one day I WILL use it in my art. lol Great job cleaning and I enjoyed seeing your art room.

I used to have that same VW Beetle poster (the one with t he tie-dye esque background) years and year ago but I no longer have it. I thought of it while watching this video.

Yeah I was thinking about the closet also. You could install a desk either a pull-down on the wall or an older one you painted and keep your sewing machine permanently set-up. I know I would sew more if I could do this.

i agree. take advantage of vertical space and you'll be able to organize what you have. that way, if you see what you have, you might be more likely to use it. or pass it on to someone who can. .. plus, have room for more new stuff, of course ;)

ya have a ton of wasted space in ya closet. Why not buy a dresser or put more shelves in it for storage. This would give ya more work space. Just an Idea. Congrats for cleaning ya clutter.
