People who have seen Ms Phyilly Wong's self-made abacuses would not have imagined that the materials she used could be transformed into such creative and attractive educational 'toys'. Each creation is unique in its characteristics and design. There are now about 1000 of these unusual creation and collections in her museam. How many would have thought of using toy dinosaurs and rhinoceros horns in the making of abacus.
Soroban Education Centre has been providing abacus mental calculation enrichment classes for primary school children since 1993. Our centre is registered with the Ministry of Education, and we have been invited by famous schools to conduct abacus lessons for both the students as well as their teachers. We are proud to be the first and only one in the abacus arena to get into The Guinness Book of World Record in 1999, 2005 & 2010
