The George Lynch solo of over 3 mins kicked some major league ass!!!
-
Dokken was an extremely talented band, I think though, they didn't get the credit they deserved...excellent musicians and outstanding vocals of Don Dokken...
-
@MuvoTX Yeah, I agree... People like Lynch, all have the sound in their hands and not in their equipment.
-
@MeanStreet93 Yeah... I remember I bought a Duncan screamin' Deamon humbucker some time in the late 80s... and was like WHOA... it had a lot lower output than I was expecting. His tone isn't really about blistering gain slamming the preamp... more like power tube saturation and cabinet resonance.
-
There was barly any gain going to Lynch's solo. He put everything he got into that shred!!
I've never seen anybody push harder like George Lynch.

dude, I agree with you. except what you say about RATT !
RATT and grown softer ? when ? Ratt is kicking ass. Did you check their new album infestation !
RATT and Dokken are two of my favorite bands EVER !
Warren Demartini has some serious chops. RATT is one badass band !
Crue and Poison are pretty average imo.

YEAAAHHHH FINALLY DOKKEN LIVE IN GOOD QUALITY IN THEIR PRIME TIME
@MrDarrell29 ................Dokken was definately the most talented band from the 80's. And they didn't soften up like other 80's bands later in their careers........Crue, Poison, Ratt, never had this.
