http://shuttlesource.com presents the ferry flight of the space shuttle Atlantis back to the Kennedy Space Center in Florida following the STS-117 landing in California. The 747 aircraft will make one stop before returning to KSC.

  • @DaSpaceJammer it cant fly.... it needs to be put into outer space and when it returns to earth , it glides down , it doesnt fly.

  • because it's not a powered airplane. it's a rocketship with wings "just" big enough to make a very heavy glided fast landing.

  • Depends what you define as biggest, sure the An-225 is the longest, but the H-4 has a wider wingspan, and the Airbus A380-800 is the tallest.
