It seems like this is a necessary process though. I mean otherwise you can go back to the 19th century when poo was being dumped directly into rivers, lakes, ocean, bays, and harbors and then that nasty crap winds ride back into the water supply and you wind up with massive epedemics of typhoid and cholera. Not to mention Tuberculosis and other nasty diseases. It is expensive and it is necessary. End of discussion.

This method just seems like too much extra work on humanity in every way, work is expressed in money so lots of money to clean shit! It makes no sense!
