I pay the same dues as you guys and takes classes just like you had to in your apprenticeship for the same goal.To become a JW. So what is the problem? Speaking for myself im not trying to take anybodys job.Im just trying to feed my family as part of a brotherhood JUST LIKE YOU. This is a way for US to survive as a union to compete with non union small work.So back off a little bit and remember that we are still BROTHERS and im paying into your retirement fund.

As America falls everyone scrambles for what pie is left kicking and stabbing there brothers in the back as they go.The IBEW is just another corporate sell out stealing what it can from the salt of the earth type members as they go down in flames.Lets Take it out on the district heads and international reps not each other.I see sometimes violence is necessary

The IBEW is dead.Who killed it???.The members who put up with schiesters like that slurring drunk down hill ed hill.Out here in nor CAL in the bay area we command 44.50 per hr.Yep,!!! priced ourselves right of the market!!!.44.50 per hr. and no work for three years now.For much of the " daddy's name I'm a third gen blah blah bsbs they and their buddies are the only ones working.We hard working honest members will have the last laugh though when the whole thing explodes and disintegrates.LIARS!!

Local 58 fell May 2 in a vote of 36% turnout. 630 yes - 607 against. 2,200 sat out. We now have two JIW books for the same work - one at $24.00/hr and one at $34.21/hr. You can stay on either while working off one list. Double Book your own local while undermining your own contract.

Makes me sick to be a member of something I used to be proud of. Sold down the river by the people who should be doing what they can to help us. Maybe we could come up with some sort of lower pay tier employees to take Ed Hill's job and replace him and all his cronies.

The CW was jammed through by the IO in 291 last year. Now the contractors can hire CW off the street for 1/2 wage of a JW. Our loaded books will never move again. Now we don’t even have to take state licensing requirements into account that we worked so hard to keep intact. The wealthy have to grab all they can as they burn the country down; I guess it doesn't matter if you are the head of a bank or the IBEW.

The IBEW is now bringing in construction electricians who work for less pay. The union has gone non union for lack of a better term.j
