@riffkiller43 I meant to say tune your G and D strings first.To only teach the main lick isn't much of a lesson either.

Not a bad lesson but u left out so much of the intro. Once u learn this and try to play it with the original version it will sound so bad but ur good at guitar. Its alot harder than this

@DieGroeneKud Well, I started playing the guitar around 1994-1995. There was no Youtube back then. All I had to start with was a Mel Bay chord book and my stereo. So, in a sense, I did begin playing by ear and trying to mimic what was coming out of the speakers. I've never taken a single lesson from anyone, although I'm sure it would be beneficial on some level even today. Playing by ear is a very important component to any guitarist's skill set and it shouldn't be overlooked.
