American Violets

Walking on part of our lawn in the front of the house at HewesCliff (North Georgia), I took a brief Video of the wonderful American Violets that virtually carpet various areas about the place. Beautiful tiny flowers of purple with yellow centers, they almost look like purple irises up close.

It brings back memories of days when my Mum and I used to go out onto the fields, by the streams, searching for violets, primroses and berries to bring back home.
