  • I'm still annoyed that the US got that terrible stripped down version of this game, Dracula X, for the SNES. The themes in this game were considered too racy for the US at the time (virginal sacrifices, the succubus, large amounts of blood, dismembered corpses, suicide).

They tried to make good with Dracula X Chronicles on PSP, but it's just not the same experience.

  • For 1993, the animation for the Grim Reaper at 16:55 was freaking awesome. You never saw anything cool like that back then.

  • Someone should make an anima series or comic out of this.

    It's so epic!

  • @HaisaiAgaa SOTN picks up the action from Chi No Rondo. It is a sequel. Most of the enemies from SOTN look and act exactly the same like in this game right here.

  • @faustobuster3 Somewhat similar is the game "Castlevania Dracula X, or Vampire's Kiss (released for the SNES after Super Castlevania IV). They used the same character, Richter, and similar music, but the stage's design was changed and all of the cool features were stripped (like multiple paths in each stage, secret stages, playing as Maria, blood effects, religious aspects, storyline).

  • Subtitle Plz

  • Maria's walking animation looks strangely similar to Alucard's in SOTN.

  • Wait a minute... Isn't there a castlevania game based on this one? i remember it was for the Snes....

  • I'm not sure why,but I couldn't help but giggle during the cutscenes.

  • 24:57 I Rolf'd Hard with that!!

  • @Phoenix10k I agree that this version is much better than the snes port but really the snes port is still pretty great
