Best prelude!
-
Technique abounds however the steadfast tempos make for a text-book reading; in short I fell asleep during this one, there was no chance for a lasting impression...
-
At 5:14 there is a little bit hint of the finale from Op. 23 no. 2 (Bb Major).

I love Rachmaninov, I'm crying after listen this prelude

Ashkenazy is so special with Rachmaninov.

@hellomate639 NICE observation!! yeah i know he does that wth his symphonies and piano concerti (which is common russiansymphonic tradition), but preludes... i had no clue!! thanks!

Powerful!

Io invece assieme all'opera 23 n 4 e all'opera 32 n 12 è quello che preferisco! è la conclusione perfetta al ciclo dei 24 preludi!!

preludio quasi auto celebrativo tant'è carico ed imponente! °_°
