Eric suffering at 50 mile run/Catalina Island Ultramarathon

I'm not too happy at this point of the Ultramarathon race but was determined to finish at all costs. Even if i had to vomit,crawl or limp down the mountain to the finish line to the city of Avalon. I did start running again after this agonizing clip if you thought i was wimping out.

I just wanted to thank my friend and fellow Ultramarathoner, Dr Dan Lehnberg for treating my injury a few weeks leading up to the race and giving me guidance and pep talks prior to this event. This was my first Ultramarathon and

without his knowledge and treatments i wouldn't have completed my goal. Thank's Dan and look forward to the next race when we can finish together. When the body shuts down...the mind/spirit can lead and overcome any obstacle. Eric
