In recent years, Polish jazz legend Tomasz Stanko has experienced a lot of critical acclaim for his work on ECM, but this concert in Aarhus, Denmark was a chance to experience him in a never-tried-before setting with Danish drummer Stefan Pasborg, Swedish bass player Anders Jormin and the American saxophonist Tim Berne. The project has borrowed the title from Stanko's first ECM recording from 1976, which is a melodic freeform exploration of pure sound and rhythm.
