@LiamusShakirus I'm actually not sure if it was feasible at all to march a perfect straight leg. At least in Metamora it was after some rain. Similar grass, only slick.

@LiamusShakirus The straight leg marching corps were effected so much more by this. 0.0 Talk about burning calf muscles.

that grass was so tall at rockford... absolute worst field conditions of the season

@theaws0m3guy I was at the show and all 8 corps do this:
Do their performance, then have a quick encore piece or two after their show while the other corps comes over.
During intermission, they have a game on the field for kids
After the last corps peforms (for Rockford, it was Cadets) all the corps come back to the field for a mass performance of a piece or two then they have fan voting and real scores announced afterwards.

I have a question. So what exactly is different about TOC? Like do they warm up on the field? And don't they have all the corps play at the end or something? Thanks!
