Charice Sings I Love You from her new CD album live in Los Angeles California.

Charice is a Filipina R&B, pop, ballad and soul genres singer. She has recorded and released the numbers of songs that includes And I'm Telling You, I Will Always Love You, I Have Nothing, Bring Back The Times, Listen, Stand Up For Love, Run To You, Note to God and many more.

Charice was invited at the birthday concert of Italian operatic pop tenor Andrea Bocelli on July 20, 2008 at the open-air Theatre of Silence of Lajatico in Tuscany, Italy.

Charice performed at the opening night of MGM Grand at the Foxwoods Resort & Casino in Ledyard, Connecticut on May 17, 2008. Charice, the Filipina singer who became a global singing sensation through YouTube, was also one of the special guests in the star-studded live concert honoring David Foster on Friday, May 23 at the Event Center at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. The concert featured David Foster performing with many of the artists he has written or produced in his 35-year career, including Brian McKnight, Katharine McPhee, Kenny G, Peter Cetera and many more.

Oprah Winfrey in her show, presented the world's smartest kids and Charice was one of them. The 15-year old Filipina singing prodigy said it's a dream come true.

Charice had also performed on the following TV shows; Star King, Ellen Degeneres, Paul O'Grady, and most recently on the highly-rated Glee.

Charice joined Little Big Star singing contest in ABS-CBN in 2005, when she was only 13 years old. She was eliminated right away but was later picked in a wild card round to re-enter the competition. She worked her way up to become a finalist. She was a consistent top scorer during the early rounds. But during the finals, she only finished third place, while Sam Concepcion got first place. Since this singing contest, Charice has been under contract with Star Records, a subsidiary of ABS-CBN. Many viewers reposted her Star King performance on YouTube, and Charice found her way into American television. TV network E!'s The Daily Ten featured her Star King performance with the headline, "A Star Is Born" on November 14, 2007 and then titled her "Queen of the Week" on the Hollywood Royalty segment, this time with the headline, "A Queen Is Born" on November 16, 2007.




Charice performance on Star King was featured on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on its November 28, 2007 episode, in which Ellen showed web videos of different people she would like to have as guests on the show. After showing the video, DeGeneres did a standing ovation and imitated Charice' gestures. She later personally invited the young singer to perform on the show.

Charice first attracted huge attention in the cyberworld when the FalseVoice channel of YouTube posted her Little Big Star performance of Whitney Houston's hit, I Will Always Love You. Many viewers thought her singing was fake and that she was only lip synching because of her unbelievable vocals. A few months later, another YouTube video of Charice was posted with her singing Dreamgirls Anthem, And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going. This earned her an invitation from one of the four national television networks in South Korea, Seoul Broadcasting System, on October 13, 2007 to perform on a talent show called Star King. The Korean audience was wowed by her rendition of And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going. She also sang a duet, A Whole New World, with Kyuhyun of Super Junior.

Charmaine Clarice Relucio Pempengco was born May 10, 1992 in Cabuyao, Laguna, Philippines. Charice's mother, in a move to prevent the reoccurring mispronunciation of their last name decided to take the last name Pempengco off and just use "Charice" as her screen name in all future works and appearances.
