Jamestown - Gauntlet (Judgement/Gunner - before DLC nerf)

*** NOTE: with the new patch introduced by the DLC, the gunner can no longer increase its rate of fire by tapping the fire button. I used this 'bug' quite heavily in this video, so some things may not be possible anymore... ***

Here's a run through of gauntlet mode where I credit feed to the end. I sorta play for score, but I mess up the vaunt chaining in a few areas. Also, because I'm rather impatient/wussy, I don't bother to milk the bosses for points. And even then, I get panicky near the end and die too much that I don't get a decent end game survival bonus.

How long did you have to play this game to get a run like this?

@LethalXDSSBB quite a while actually, my Steam playtime says ~100 hours but removing the time I left the game idle, I'd say closer to 70-80 from the first time I played, including time spent on the challenge missions, experimenting, etc. Yeah, I'm pretty bad =/

Awesome job being the first! I just got this game last week, and I am addicted to the bomber. Today, I finally finished Judgement level 2 and got 1,628,749 pts, 24'th place with the bomber. I want to beat the whole game with it, but it's going to be tough. I don't see any scores on the leaderboard for bomber for level 2, past legendary. What's your score with the bomber for level 2? My ultimate goal of course will be gauntlet jugmt, but with only having the game for a week, that's a bit far off.

This video pretty much affirms my belief that the Gunner is the best ship in the game (inclusive of the new DLC ships). The ability to fire in a different direction from where your ship is facing is just too good, and makes surviving the final stage so much easier.
