Part 4 of 10, Bill 44-10 (Testimony by Gino Renne, president of the Montgomery County Government Employees Organization). Lockheed Martin wanted Maryland's Montgomery County Council to exempt the company's hotel from the county transient (hotel) tax. Peace Action Montgomery County and Fund our Communities, Bring the War Dollars Home played a leading role in a coalition to prevent the unfair tax break proposed in Bill 44-10. Testimony was heard and deliberation occurred on 9/21/2010.
