How to get cable remote codes

Brighthouse Comcast Timewarner universal cable remote 1056 1056B01 programming support codes, press tv then hold setup for 5 seconds then press 9-9-1 then power then channel up slowly till tv turns off or ch. down to reverse it tv will turn off or On if you got the right code then tv setup to save the code. press "tv" then "video source" button twice to change tv inputs.

Lol, i tried to program the same remote to my tv and only the volume works..

@iRideVIP - i did another video more detailed but if the vol. works the rest should too, what's not working channel & power button? maybe buttons are dirty, did somebody spill drink on the remote? try to open it up use rubbing alchol & toothbrush to clean the remote board

after these codes i sill can't program it. none of my buttons work. i can't put the volume up or channel or the number or anything. the remote i have is UR5U-8780L-TWY. please help!

@Tampatec No, when i hit the buttons the lights light up. so there is nothing wrong with it at all.
