How can people think they know the correct interpretation of the Bible without studying it?

You would think that kelly would want to dress more professionally, especially to a debate covering such an important topic.

@troyecarter Even if you study the bible, you still will not get the correct interpretation because the copies have been bastardized and re-written so many times, who knows at this point the original intent of the writers, especially given the fact that most of the canons we don't even know who truly wrote them.

Brian is wrong christianity does not teach that you can do whatever you want and Jesus will forgive you, because christianity teachs (as so it is true) that if you are a christian you will love God so much that you will not enjoy sin like we did when we were in our old nature. But when we are redeemed God is continually sanctifing us and making us a new creation and we long to do what is right.

@impactproformance How do you prove that Santa Claus doesn't exist? He could be out there somewhere, right? It's possible, right? I know, because everybody collectively accepts that Santa Claus doesn't really exist... in the same way that millions of people collectively believe in God. Each person must individually choose to accept objective evidence over collective truth manufactured by fear and ignorance, and few people are willing to do that... at least openly.
