Adam + Eve = Plan B

Among the odd things one finds in the Genesis creation stories is that the search for a "suitable helper" for Adam first takes place among the animals and birds Yahweh created. When that doesn't work out, Yahweh creates Eve.

@ProfMTH There is evidence that suggests Lilith was part of the Talmud's version of Genesis, and that she was created before Eve. Lilith was supposedly was created out of same dust as Adam, and so thought herself equal to him. When she refused to be subservient to Adam, she fled the garden. Then god created Eve out of Adam's rib, making it so she was not equal. When the texts were translated, Lilith was left out of the Genesis story, but kept as a demon.

@caelachyt So God's G.E. lab had a bit of a screw-up and lost Adam's reference DNA? That is just sloppy. Genetic replication is prone to transcription errors. So this where god went wrong with Eve? Much of the planet still hasn't figured out the misogynistic mess.

Actually, Eve was plan C. Gen 1 account creates man and woman together, woman being Lilith. Adam and Lilith got on fined, but the Lilith want to ride on top for a change. Adam got really steam and promptly sued for divorce. In a most uncivil manor Adam and all his friends trash talked Lilith. She said to be the cause of wet dreams and infant sleep apnea. A sword is keep in a crib to ward off Lilith. Good work, it does explore the commonly held story :)

@TheSmithDorian Yes. It is arguably synonymous with Hades in the Greek though the concept has evolved to possibly mean otherwise after the first century. It is one of those that you need to fill in some blanks on and what you suppose can significantly adjust the outcome.
