@aliceandanton - first make sure you have version 7 of Camtasia Studio. Next, you might consider doing and uninstall, and then reinstall - I know this isn't fun but should help. If that doesn't help, contact our support department at: go to techsmith's website, then click on the support tab, and the Tech Support. Submit a case.

Library assets are in .libzip files. Double-click on a .libzip file and you will be prompted to import the assets into your library. After you import the assets from the .libzip, you don't need the .libzip any longer. So it doesn't really matter where you save the .libzip file, as long as you double-click it after you save
