Pet Rats learning synchronised tricks

Whiskey and Womble return. First attempts at learning to open a "door" (basic start). Various synchronised tricks (ish). And a natural instinct lost somewhere between "hoarding" and "life-saving"

if i get two male, will they be closer to me, then just one, because one will be scared?

If you get one then it is going to be very skittish and scared for a while and that will really slow down the "getting close to you" thing. Getting two rats will allow them to have company ALL the time even when you're asleep and they are most active, so its important to aim for two. Having two won't mean that they are less close to you, I've shared an incredibly close bond with both of these two, having two gives them that much more company, play fun and support :)

They are gorgeous, very cute, I used to have pets rats, I've had 3 pairs altogether but became quite badly allergic to them so I can't keep them any more, :-( such a shame because they are really lovely, clever and affectionate pets to have, yours are beautiful, cherish them!

It is not a good idea to ask for advice on a pet you are going to get TOMORROW. Always do as much research as possible IN ADVANCE, for the pets sake, and your own.
