What a bunch of bull, the negative comments about the boomers. We most certainly aren't a worthless generation. We were concerned about the world and a lot of us still have concerns about it and how it is being screwed over by TPTB. It wasn't my generation that outlawed hemp and pollutes the air and the seas. There were some good things about growing up in the 50s but there were a lot of things wrong too.

The good things would be computers, internet and environmental stuff. But because of their policy of givihg freebies to the minorities and pandering to the whims and fancies of the minorities, they have made the US a thrid world country. They are the ones that encourage the immigrants not to assimilate, but to keep their third world crap culture. So boomers, you are responsible for a lot of bad stuff, but I will give you credit for the good stuff you did too.

I agree. The baby boomers disrespected the WW-2 generation. The 50s and 60s were the best eras in the US because the WW2 gen was in control. When the boomers started their hippie nonsense in the mid 60s the world went down. Liberals like Sen kennedy and others opened the US to the third world and that sent the US spiraling downwards. I say blame the liberals as a whole not only the boomers. Ofcourse most boomers were liberals. They may have done good things, but did ruin America with lib crap.

Most of the comments against baby boomers here, are broad sweeping statements without solid evidence/examples to back them up. Not all boomers did that well. Blaming a specific generation for your own failure is a cop out, pure and simple. The younger set have to learn the value of saving and the work ethic.
