NetApp and VMware collaborated to build a 50,000-seat virtual desktop infrastructure reference architecture that easily scales without sacrificing performance.
Customers are always looking for proof points and hands-on expertise in large scale architectures that will help them design their own VDI deployment successfully.

leishirsute, these are all great questions and many if not all of them will be addressed in an upcoming paper... This video was to show the collaboration between the 5 companies , NetApp, Cisco, VMware, Fujitsu and Wyse and that we are working on building a reference architecture. We are still in the process of finalalizing all the details and running a couple of last tests before we publish the RA. So stay tuned as more will be coming to answer your questions!
Thanks,
Chris

Where is the independent validation?
How long did it take to deploy?
How much storage did it require compared to competitive storage.
I don't hear any message here that other vendors don't also claim.
What is unique differentiation?
I expected more meat in this presentation.
