@krap101 Its aluminum, and doesnt create as much heat as grade steel. Therefore, bigger cuts and faster speeds can be used. Especially with carbide cutters.

For such a small depth of a cut your should use milling tools wich are short.

Looks good. Shows the capabilities of cnc for students ,etc. Very basic and could be explained to a class, or group.
YOU have a cnc video on Youtube, I don't .

outcome was nice but sure took a long time to get there. Tool changes and rapids were killers. inserted cutters for the rough cycle would be the better choice. the ramping comment was good too. Use a spot drill instead of a center drill.
its such a simple product you can do it without mastercam
