If you have something that is too loud (compared to everything else) sometimes the compressor tool can help. This video provides the basics for the compression tool. This is 4 of 10 videos for Sound Training for Media Cloisters Student Employees.
This video covers the basics of compression in Audacity.
Can you make something like EQ compression for vocals recording ?

I would do the following:
1. Do noise removal
2. Then use "amplify" to increase the volume.
Both can be found in the "Effect" menu.
Note, if the recording is really soft, it may be nearly impossible to get a good sound out of it. It's like with an image in Photoshop, you can make a good picture better, but you can't make a bad picture good.
For "HaveaBeutifulLife" I used screenflow, sorry for the delay in response.

I am recording a meeting, but the woman speaking always stands so far away and talks in a quite low voice.
How could I use this to make it all louder? Could u write or show me?
Best regards.

Thanks very much for providing this tutorial (and others).
I'm wondering if you can tell me how you made it -- what tool you used to a) show yourself in a small window and audacity and b) you you highlighted the cursor.
I have a need to produce some tutorials for a different application so thanks for any help.
