Sorry -- you missed the boat (or the plane or the island) with the acoustic guitar. 80's TV shows did NOT use acoustic guitar styled themes. You need to go watch the Miami Vice intro, or Hill Street Blues, or Cosby Show or any other one of many 80's TV shows.
The visuals and titling font were pretty good though.
