  • very nice to see that the finish comrades still thinking about their soldiers who fought bravely in ww2. shame that nobody does that in germany. in the end they were all men just fighting for their lives.

  • Kaunis on kuolla puolesta maan, muiston siitä kuulla ma saan.

Kun kaatui kuoloon vertainen, nuori rintaman hiljainen.

Kansas edestä taivuit kohtaloon, kanssa monen vertaisen.

Kuule ylväs, Pyhä taivainen. Revi rikki kaunaisuus. Tuo meille ikirauhaisuus.

    Timo Huttunen

  • @Leutnant82 in general we Finns appreciate the help Germany gave us during the Continuation war, what ever political or strategic reasons there may have been behind it, the truth is that we were "brothers in arms" as the Finno-German relationship during the war is called here in Finland, I salute every single German/Austrian as well as Hungarian and all the other co-belligerent soldiers who fought on the Eastern front.

  • Pro Patria ! Me taistelemme kodin, uskonnon ja isänmaan puolesta.

  • Dulce et Decorum est Pro Patria Mori.

My country has suffered greatly in war, my own family included, still I honor even those who fell for the sake of the Soviet Union, they fought for their land as did my great-grandfather, my late grandfather told me when I last saw him that he'll never forgive the russians what they did in 1941 for him by killing his father, still he always told us, his grandchildren, that hating russians will never accomplish anything.

  • Pro Patria. RCR. 2nd Battalion.
