Comatose -Leyton

When Lucas isn't with Peyton, or is in denial of his feelings for Peyton, he is in a comatose-like state. He needs these moments of "simple clarity" to open his eyes. But he will. He has proven in the past to break from states of comatose, both literally and figuratively, in order to come back for Peyton. He came back for her in season 1 after his accident because he couldn't miss out on being with her. He chose Peyton over HEAVEN in 4x10, so he could tell her he loved her. He woke up metaphorically in 4x09 at the championship to "The realization that we had always been meant for each other and every instinct to the contrary had simply been a denial of the following truth - I was now and would always be in love with Peyton Sawyer." And now, my fellow leytoners, all we have to do is wait for Lucas to have another moment of "simple clarity".

Side Note: OMG OMG OMG! Okay, anyone who knows me knows that words and I are like peanut-butter and jelly, they go together perfectly. I am never without words, especially when putting them in writting form. But omg, it has been three days since 5x08, three freaking days, and I haven't been able to write a coherent sentence concerning 5x08! They've literally left me speechless (up to this point, trust me the damn will break soon I'm sure) and this has never happened before! I know that a lot of people were skeptical about a season 5, especially with the hindsight of all the Lucas/Lindsey crap we've had to, and will have to, endure...and that sucks epsecially since Leytoners have been put through a lot of crap in the past also...but my fellow Leytoners this THIS is why we needed a season 5:

"Suddenly it was as if the roar of the crowd, the echo of the final buzzers, the cheers of my teammates were all sounding from 1,000 miles away, and what remained in that bizarre, muffled silence was only Peyton. The girl whose art, passion, and beauty had changed my life. In that moment, my triumph was not a state championship, but simple clarity. The realization that we had always been meant for each other and every instinct to the contrary had simply been a denial of the following truth - I was now and would always be in love with Peyton Sawyer."

This quote ^ makes it all worth it. Of course I want them to have thier fairy tale happily ever after, but after this quote ^ and everything that was shown in 508 even if they didn't get their happy ending (which I'm sure they will) but even if they didn't, I think I would still be satisfied with their relationship. This episode clearly showed, without a doubt, unequivocally, that Lucas will always love Peyton, and Peyton will always wait for Lucas. If there had been any dobut in my mind that LP would reunite it would be wiped away by 508. No question about it, LP are IT.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Mark on LP in S2:

Woo I did pretty good for a girl who's been speechless huh? rolf I think this was the beginning drippings of the damn breaking for my outpoor, it'll be interesting to see who gets the whole blast of it when it finally does break lol

I had sooo much fun making this video! gaaah GAAAHHHH that's all I can get out right now! I'm absolutely in LP heaven, I'm sure many of you are sitting right beside me there, but if your not yet you should come join me, its a beautiful place to be. Go on, bask in the glow of my Leyton happiness-optimism, go on, I know you want to. ;)
