Downpour Productions presents a non-profit film, based on the famous game by Konami. Metal Gear! This is the first teaser trailer for the highly-anticipated film, slated for a late 2009 release.

Hey I Am a big Metal Gear Solid Fan and im obviously guessing you are too i want to ask which game in the series including metal gear and metal gear 2, but which one would you say is your favourite and why ? Also your trailers looks awesome i really do wish you wer going to make this into a feature film. My Favourite is Metal Gear Solid on the psx, its just brilliant the story the characters the gameplay everything was spot on for me and its my favourite game of all time.

If you're dissatisfied with their production, I invite you to make a better one. No one said that everything posted to YouTube had to be Hollywood quality. For operating within their means, though, I think it looks pretty darn good

Going to set the record straight: This film WILL be finished. We've been working our asses off these past couple of years, and productions WITHOUT financing take time. Also, I'd like to invite those that leave bad comments to make a better video. At least we as a production company are dedicated to hard effort and the fans who love the series (the real fans). Also, I don't see David Hayter commenting on YOUR videos. 'Nough said. Thanks to those who support us.

I really like this. As a piece of constructive criticism, however, the only thing out of place was the person who played Big Boss. It broke the suspension of disbelief for me, as it looked like someone a bit too young for the role. Everything else was good.

i hope to god they make this movie. It might be kind of hard because theres so many different games with different story lines, but hayter will find a way to get it done
