TNT NBA analyst has some choice words for his alma mater's decision in hiring Gene Chizik over Buffalo head coach Turner Gill.

Hey Barkley, it's a good thing you have nothing to do with hiring and recruiting at Auburn... if a white Alumni went on national television and blasted the idea of "affirmative action" he would be fined or fired but you can blast what you call the "good ole boy network" and get away with it...it's a double standard and a cryin shame... just keep givin Auburn your money and keep your mouth shut..WAR DAMN CHIZIK!

The point Barkley is trying to make is that based on his previous coaching, Turner Gill was more qualified than Gene Chizik (based on Chizik's coaching at ISU).

@nukeasfinest96792 Wow you must've never played a snap of football. It's a TEAM sport, EVERYONE has to be great, not just one player. Coaching is more important than any talent you have, without good coaching talent really dosen't mean sh*t. Can a player put a team over the top? Yes, but was it ALL because of Cam Newton? No. Stop trolling on Auburn videos because your team sucks too bad to even be talked about on ESPN.

@AuburnBoi4Lyfe Turner Gill was supposedly terrible at the interview process, and what he was going to do to help the program move forward. He also interviewed for his alma mater Nebraska, and Bo Pelini was hired for the same reason. I was shocked like everyone else, but it came out that Chizik knocked their socks off in the interview with his plan and the coaching staff he already contacted and thought would be interested in the job.
