  • Looks very like the British people have had their brains rotted by too many TV soaps, too many lies from their corrupt governments, they only care about the price of beer, petrol and football, they can all live in their prison homes where they hide after curfew and sleep, i used to think sheep were stupid but i know better now!

  • BBC reporter: 'the vast majority' as opposed to what other majority?

  • There has never been any convincing evidence to show that CCTV reduces crime as opposed to monitoring it. A useful tool for investigating crime, but it is being expanded on the basis of dogma. If you keep repeating something long enough (in this case CCTV 'making you safer' and being a 'crime reduction strategy') some people will believe it. If it had an effect on crime there would be a correlation between high CCTV ownership and lower crime. This is not the case compared with other EU countries
