^this is why the cure rocks. You listen to something like Prayers for Rain, and near the end of the song, when Robert Plays that small lick, thats like an octave inversions of the intro basline, just melts you. Another example is the solo/bridge from The Same Deep Water As You. It's like water bouncing off the edges, pushing out, and coming back again, softer than before, but the pulse is still sharp adn strong.

Playing fast = skill apparently. owait.

Learning some arpeggios and beating the shit out of them doesn't REALLY classify as talent.
