This is the second part of our trip along the Alpine Loop. It is the end of about the first third of the Mineral Creek Trail, from the Mickey Breene Mine to the trail head of the Poughkeepsie Gulch Trail.

I have a picture of my ZJ in that mud hole at 4:40 with the water about 1/4 way up my doors! This trail was quite the deal for an Iowa boy who's used to mud and more mud.
