Hello! I like your cover very very much! I don´t listen to Beirut for a very long time, but when I discovered them (first song I heard was Nantes) I was amazed and their magical music hit me like a frickin truck. Some time after that I listened to Postcards from Italy and loved the ukulele in that song and then finally - found this cover. I saw you, talented guy with ukulele and I thought, why not buy it too?! So I bought a very cheap uke and learned this song on it. Thank You and thank Beirut.

Dude this is so freaking awesome, I love Beirut but I would take your rendition of Postcards over the original anyday. I think im definitely gonna buy an uke. (I've been wanting one ever since I saw my first Julia Nunes video and after seeing this I would feel like an idiot not buying one)

what model is your uke?

@christinaaaaa hello, its a Tara model: UKS. just about the crappiest thing money can buy haha. i had to cut the notches down in the nut on the headstock just so the chords near the top would sound more in tune lol. Definitely don't buy one of these unless you wanna do some slicing!!!!
