This video tutorial explains how to embed an SWF flash video in PowerPoint presentation.

To start, I first make a flash movie, 400x200 pixels, 11 seconds long, and 4.28kb size. The PowerPoint presentation has 3 slides as shown in the video above.

The first and the third slides carry text messages that have simple animations. The second slide contains the flash video.

To insert the flash video, click the Insert tab, then Media, followed by Video. After Video from File is selected, the file container in my computer opens.

Here let me first select the file type as Adobe Flash Media. Then I choose the SWF flash file, which is then embedded in the PowerPoint presentation.

The SWF flash file is 11 seconds long, but I select 13 seconds as the transition time before the second slide transfers to the third one.

Finally, after all the adjustments, it's time to play the embedded SWF flash movie in the PowerPoint video.

Thanks for watching.
